ainting
terrain is just like painting any other model in your
Warhammer army. You use many of the same techniques,
and painting your terrain will make your battlefield
look really good. Here are some simple step-by-step
instructions on how you can paint the terrain that
comes in the Battle for Skull Pass boxed set. |

| Stone.
After priming your model black,
dry brush the bottom half of the statues
and the stones with Codex Grey. Don't
worry too much about getting excess
grey on other areas, since you can
paint over any mistakes with Chaos
Black. |
| Helms and
Shields. Paint the helms,
shields, and trinkets Brazen Brass.
On the shields, leave the recesses
black to really make the detail stand
out. |
| Chains.
Paint the chains connecting the statues
with Chainmail. Its always a good idea after
painting with Metal paints to clean out your
water pot, as the metal paints can leave metal
flecks in the water. |
| Base. Finally,
paint the base with a coat of Goblin Green.
Alternately, if you are using a different
color to base your army, you can paint the
base to match it. |
