PAINTING THE GRUDGE PONY title image.
Painting terrain is just like painting any other model in your Warhammer army. You use many of the same techniques, and painting your terrain will make your battlefield look really good. Here are some simple step-by-step instructions on how you can paint the terrain that comes in the Battle for Skull Pass boxed set.

1
Cart. First, prime the model black and then drybrush the entire cart with Chainmail.
2
Pony. Paint the pony Vermin Brown. You can go over any mistakes with Chaos Black if you accidentally get Vermin Brown on another part of the model.

Blanket. Paint the blanket on the pony Regal Blue and paint the Candles on the cart Skull White. You may need to use a few coats of Skull While to cover the black primer.
4
Straps and Bedrolls. Paint the straps and bridle of the pony Scorched Brown. Also paint the bed rolls on the top of the cart Scorched Brown.

5
Mane. Lightly drybrush the pony's mane with Space Wolves Grey. Paint the base of the pony Goblin Green. Of course, if you are using a different color to base your army, use that color instead.
6
Gold. Paint the top part of the heads, the bottles, shield, and side decorations on the cart with Shining Gold. Finally, paint the rivets and buckles on the pony's straps Mithril Silver. Be sure to clean your water after using metallic paint, as it leaves small metal flecks in your water.
