you break everything down into small, digestible steps,
you'll see just how simple it really is. Shown below
is a basic step-by-step example of how to paint a
miniature. Follow the directions, take your time, and
with a bit of practice, you'll soon have a collection
of miniatures to be proud of! |

| Skin and
Spider Carapace. Start
by carefully drybrushing the spider
body with Codex Grey. Next, paint
the Forest Goblin's skin using Goblin
Green. |

|
|
| Spider
Eyes, Shirt, and Shield. Paint
the rims of the spider's eyes Ultramarines
Blue, then paint the eyes themselves
Blood Red. On the Goblin, paint the
shirt and shield Scab Red. |
|
|
|
| Leather,
Eyes, and Teeth. Paint
any wrappings and leather using Dark
Flesh. Next, pick out the Goblin's
teeth and shield eyes with Bleached
Bone. Finally, paint the Goblin's
eyes Blood Red. |

|
|
| Bones and
Feathers. Paint all the
bones, skulls, and teeth necklaces
Bleached Bone. Next, paint any feathers
Blood Red or Ultramarines Blue. |

|
|
| Metals.
Paint the shield rim, sword
blade, and earrings with Boltgun Metal.
If you plan on painting more models,
be sure to wash out your water! |
